Introduction to Ceramics: July-August

Connect with your creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment! In this 4-week session we'll cover the basics of ceramic hand-building, look at artwork by ceramic artists of the past and present, and learn about the scientific and material properties of clay. No prior ceramics experience is necessary!

This class is perfect for those who want to try something entirely new, deepen their existing ceramics knowledge, or work on a specific project with hands-on support.

What to expect:
Up to 25 lb of clay - more available for purchase
Black and white underglaze and clear glaze
Access to shared tools
One firing per student
4 studio periods consisting of active instruction, exercises, an optional prompt to work on throughout the course, and hands-on assistance on your work

Students are welcome to bring their own clay or glaze (cone 5 max) if desired.

Class dates: Wednesdays 5-8PM, July 22-August 12, 2026

Studio Location: Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles

Cost: $500 per student

No refunds available after purchase. If something comes up and you are unable to attend the class or workshop, email me with at least 1 weeks’ notice and I will secure your space in the next available session.
